About Me
Hi, I’m Nina. I was adopted from China and grew up in the Bay Area, where I first fell in love with movement through running and soccer. Over time, that love for running turned into an unhealthy obsession with being smaller and controlling my body through restriction. My relationship with food, exercise, and myself became exhausting.
Strength training completely shifted my perspective. For the first time, movement became something that made me feel strong, capable, and connected to my body instead of disconnected from it. I stopped focusing on taking up less space and started focusing on building strength, confidence, and trust in myself again.
That experience is a big part of why I became a coach. Today, I help others build a healthier and more sustainable relationship with fitness, movement, and their body. My goal is to create an environment where people feel supported, challenged, and empowered whether they are stepping into the gym for the first time or rebuilding their confidence after years of struggling with it.
